Hi! I’m Lisa

A graphic designer based in West Essex, with over seven years of professional experience across branding, digital, print, packaging and visual communications.

After studying Graphic Design at Cambridge School of Art and graduating with a BA Hons degree, I've worked within in-house design teams across a range of industries, developing a practical understanding of how design needs to work across different audiences, platforms and real-world applications.

Alongside graphic design, I'm developing my practice in hand lettering and calligraphy, with a particular interest in bringing crafted, personal touches into luxury events and brand experiences.

As a designer its important to me that I understand context of the project so that I can ensure the designs meet the intended goal and purpose.
I take the time to understand the brand, the audience and what the project needs to achieve before getting into the visual details. From there, I bring a practical and detail-focused approach to the work, balancing creative thinking with the realities of deadlines, production and implementation.
I keep communication clear throughout the process and aim to make working together feel as considered as the finished result.

Alongside graphic design, I'm developing my hand lettering and calligraphy work with a particular interest in luxury events, launches and brand experiences.
My aim is to bring a light touch to an event that complements the wider experience and give guests a moment to engage with the brand in a more personal way and to leave lasting impressions in the small details.

This is an area I'm continuing to develop, and I'm excited to work with the right brands and creative teams as it grows and looking forward to introducing it more widely

How I work

Why work with me?

  • My work is Quality-led, I care about the looks, but also how it works, feels and ultimately represents the brand/client.

  • My experience in a corporate design team means that I fully understand the importance of deadlines, feedback, production and the realities of taking creative work from an idea to a finished piece and the impact on the wider teams.

  • I take the time to understand the brand I'm working with, its personality, audience, wider visual language and brand guidelines - so the work feels like a natural extension of the brand rather than something that simply looks good in isolation.

When I’m not working

You’ll find me probably in the gym, I’ve been weightlifting since I was 17 and have a great little community at my local gym. I even like to try new gyms whilst travelling on holiday!

If I’m not in the gym, I’m probably out adventuring with my German shepherd, Luna. I’m a huge dog lover and attend regular training classes which I really enjoy; A well trained dog is one of the coolest things to me.

My Partner and I are huge foodies and love anything from A La Carte dinners in the city, to BBQ festivals at Twickenham.
